The LINKS to Lake Murray:
SC 6 & SC 60 Corridor Study
Welcome! We're glad you're here!
Why this project?
The LINKS to Lake Murray: SC 6 & SC 60 Corridor Study is a project initiated by the Central Midlands Council of Governments (CMCOG) in cooperation with Central Midlands Transit (COMET) and the South Carolina Department of Transportation. We're examining these corridors to identify problems, as well as opportunities, to improve mobility and safety for all users of these important roadways.
Where is this study focused?
We're looking at two corridors as a part of this process:

-
SC 6 (North Lake Drive) from Dreher Shoals Road to Lake Murray Boulevard
-
SC 60 (Lake Murray Boulevard) from North Lake Drive to St. Andrews Road

Both of these corridors face safety concerns and growth pressures. This study will work with communities along each road to identify how best to address these challenges.
